I am a 37-year-old lifetime student from Ocean County College, married with 3 beautiful girls who take up a major amount of my life. I have always worked in my community giving my time and ideas with the PTA, Girl Scouts, 4H, and my church.  I feel it is important to give back to the community. 

It was a shock and an honor to be asked to work with our state student nursing association. My goal for this year is to make a great impact with the website and the NEW Pulsebeat.  I have written for other “newsletters” but never one of this magnitude.  I truly believe that information is power and we can change the world of nursing by contributing in just minor ways.  It only takes one idea and some discussion to get change to happen.  I hope that everyone enjoys our information plateau and please do not hesitate to contact me with your ideas and concerns at Pulsebeat@NJNSinc.org  or mieloweNJNS@comcast.net.
